Your license to use Wisp

End User License Agreement

This agreement defines the license Fuse Labs grants you to install and use Wisp on supported Apple silicon Macs.

Effective August 6, 2026
01

Agreement

By installing or using Wisp, you agree to this End User License Agreement. If you do not agree, do not install or use the application.

02

License grant

Fuse Labs grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Wisp on Apple silicon Macs that you own or control, for lawful personal or business purposes, subject to this agreement.

03

License restrictions

You may not sell, sublicense, rent, lease, redistribute, or commercially host Wisp. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, defeat technical protections, or create derivative works from Wisp except where applicable law expressly permits it.

04

Your content

You retain your rights in text you process with Wisp. You grant Wisp only the temporary local access needed to translate and replace the text you select. You are responsible for having the right to process that text and for reviewing the resulting translation.

05

Permissions and system access

Wisp requires macOS permissions to identify accessible editable selections, observe supported selection gestures, display its floating control, and replace text. You may revoke these permissions in System Settings, but doing so may prevent Wisp from functioning.

06

Models and open-source components

Wisp can download and run third-party models and includes third-party software components. Those items remain subject to their respective licenses and notices. This agreement does not grant rights that their owners have not authorized.

07

Updates

Wisp may periodically check for application or model updates. Updates may change, add, or remove functionality and may be required for compatibility or security. Unless stated otherwise, updates remain subject to this agreement.

08

Optional donations

Wisp may provide a link for voluntary donations. A donation is not a license fee and does not expand this license or guarantee future features. Donations are final and non-refundable to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

09

Ownership

Wisp is licensed, not sold. Fuse Labs and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in Wisp, including its software, interface, branding, and documentation, other than rights expressly granted in this agreement.

10

Warranty disclaimer

Wisp is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. Fuse Labs does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, compatibility with every application, error-free translations, or suitability for any particular communication or decision.

11

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fuse Labs will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost data, lost profits, business interruption, or harm resulting from reliance on translated output. Rights that cannot lawfully be limited remain unaffected.

12

Termination

This license ends automatically if you materially breach this agreement. When it ends, you must stop using and remove Wisp. Provisions concerning ownership, disclaimers, liability, and governing law survive termination.

13

Governing law and contact

This agreement is governed by the laws of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada. Questions about this agreement can be sent through the Fuse Labs support page.
